Michael’s senior session is one of my favorite sessions ever. If there is a stereotype most people would agree on – my guess is it would be girls live for their senior photos. Let’s be honest, girls plan months (if not years) in advance for their senior session. While boys just go along and do photos to make their moms happy. 😆
Well that is NOT the case for this senior session. I met the Kruse family back in the fall of 2018 when I took senior photos for their oldest son, Caleb. I left Caleb’s session wishing every session was THAT fun! Caleb was hilarious, out-going, and couldn’t have been more natural in front of the camera. I just hoped Caleb and his family had as much fun as I did.
A couple years later, Michelle contacted me again to take Michael’s photos, and I couldn’t have been more excited. I knew the session would be amazing, and I was right! Michael is such an amazing young man, and it was so much fun getting to know him. His parents came along and couldn’t stop telling me how proud they are of Michael. As a mom of two boys myself, it was so refreshing to hear parents who LOVED raising boys and even loved the teen years. I’ve already asked Michelle for tips to raising kind-hearted, God-loving men.
At the end of this post, you’ll some fun additional photos we were able to take! I highly recommend more parents come along to their children’s senior sessions. First, we all know moms deserve more photos with their children, and I’ll make sure that happens. Second, we’ll even sneak in a few photos of mom and dad because raising children isn’t easy, and it deserves to be celebrated.
