Adam & Alison | Roanoke Farm Engagement Session

February 9, 2021

Adam is from Washington, and Alison grew up in Virginia. Divine intervention would have these two living in New York City and attending the same community group at their church. Besides both loving dogs and being active, Adam & Alison love the Lord and fell in love over their shared faith.

After hitting it off immediately, it only took Adam a little over a year to ask Alison to spend the rest of her life with him. Alison came to visit Adam in Washington last fall, and he took her to the top of Mt. Rainier to propose. With both their families living on opposite sides of the country, they are planning to have their wedding in Roanoke, IN at Alison’s grandparents’ farm. I absolutely love when couples get married on family property.

We met up in December when Adam and Alison were in town doing wedding planning. You know those people you meet for the first time and you just know you’d be best friends with them? Adam and Alison are those kind of people. They are so much fun to be around, and they truly display Christ’s joy effortlessly.

I’m counting down the days until their June wedding! I already know it’s going to be one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever been a part of! This job is truly ALL about the people. The farm where their wedding is being held is absolutely stunning, but that’s not the best part – it’s just a bonus. The best part is being invited into the this couple’s best day and experiencing the gift of love they’ve been blessed with from our God. I will never grow tired of this privilege.

Without further ado, enjoy this precious couple’s session! They laughed through the cold, made our time fly by, and even sent me home with gourmet brownies. They are definitely my kind of people!
